Guy Waller, BSc, MCSP, Physiotherapist
Guy graduated in the UK with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human & Social Biology
and Sports Studies from Roehampton University in 1999. He previously worked as a
fitness coach and personal trainer in some of London's prestigious gyms before studying
and graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy in the UK in 2003.
Since then, Guy has gained a wealth of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal experience in
both busy NHS teaching hospitals and within the private sector in the UK.
Following his passion for sports, Guy worked with professional academy football teams in
the English Premier League plus local rugby teams. Since moving to Grand Cayman he
has been involved with many sporting events and teams including working closely with the
Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) and with the Cayman Rugby team.
Guy has extensive clinical experience in post operative and injury rehabilitation, ranging
from work related injuries to sport specific injuries. He has continued to expand his clinical
knowledge through many postgraduate courses including acupuncture (MAACP), sport
specific management of shoulder, hamstring, hip & groin injuries, taping techniques and
Maitland based spinal courses.
Guy uses many of his skills including acupuncture, manual
treatment and exercise prescription within his treatment sessions, enabling his patients to
reach their goals whether that be returning to the sporting field or just being free of pain
sitting at their desk! Not only does he treat muscuoskeletal injuries but he also provides
home visits, ergonomic assessments and aqua therapy.
